HOW TO FIX SINHALA FONT ISSUE IN KALI LINUX

Mostly if someone installed newly Kali Linux to your pc or laptop now a day huge problem is the how i can see the sinhala unicodes which using in internet. 

Mostly if someone installed newly Kali Linux to their PC or Laptop, now a days huge problem is how i can see the sinhala unicodes which using in internet. 

 

So, i'm here to help you out. Nothing to do. Just need to download one file and run little bit of codes only. Ok then, we start the thing.

 

• Firstly you have to make a root access account. For that:,
  
  1. Open the "Terminal Emulator".
  2. Type sudo -i and enter 
  3. Type your current profile password and press Enter
  4. After typing password it will show new account
  5. Type passwd root and press enter
  6. Then it will ask you give a new password. Type a new Password and press enter.
  7. Enter the same password which you used before.
  8. If you did correctly above steps then you can see on the terminal its saying "password updated successfully".
  9. Log out from current account
  10. From login page for the USERNAME you have to type root and then enter your password which we created before using terminal.

• Click here to download the font file and after download open the file location which the file downloaded.
  
  
• Then open the terminal and type these commands.
1. xdg-open /usr/share/fonts
2. After typing above code press Enter button.
3. Then it will open another folder.
4. Copy the file which you downloaded before to newly open window.

• Now, All done. Try to refreshing the page which you facing trouble.
